MATH 

We have 2 math options depending on the student's age.

Ages 4-12 students learn math through our S.A.M. (Seriously Addictive Mathematics) program. This is a math program that comes from Singapore and has proven to be successful for its students on many occasions.

Ages 13+ students learn math through our Solvedia program. Our unique approach to math focuses on building strong foundations first, before introducing new topics to students. We do not ask our students to memorize formulas and tables, rather, we explain in depth how math ideas work and how they should be used. Students learn to distinguish between certain questions and are able to apply them to everyday life.

MATH CONTEST PARTICIPATION

A few years ago, UNESCO declared that learning mathematics through problem-resolution activities was the most efficient way for a person to develop lasting mathematical skills and one of the best ways to prepare students to meet the challenges of the future.

We, at Solvedia Learning Centre have been encouraging and preparing our students to participate in the Mathematica.ca Canadian Math contest during the last three years.

Grades 3-9 students may enter, it is free of charge!

If you want your child to participate in the contest, please send us a request.
